First Response Fire Induction Training

Nationally accredited course which ensures employees are suitably trained in confining minor workplace emergencies and using first response fire fighting equipment.

Confine Small Workplace Emergency

This course is designed to train employees on what is required to confine a small workplace emergency. Small workplace emergencies may include such incidents as a small fire that may be controlled by using a fire extinguisher, or a chemical spill that may be controlled using PPE and a spill kit. Training will include the identification of first response fire fighting equipment and the techniques to safely and effectively control or contain the emergency. Your business may choose between three methods of practical training — entirely digital, water onto a fire simulator, or water onto a real gas fire (trainer controlled).

This training course includes both a theory and a practical component to ensure that your employees can safely handle workplace emergencies. Course participants will be able to demonstrate competency in their ability to extinguish a fire under close supervision. Protective clothing including closed in shoes and long pants are recommended if training involves the gas fire.

State of the Art Digital Simulation

Queensland Training Services Pty Ltd utilises the BullEx BullsEye Laser Driven Fire Training System. BullsEye senses where the user aims and sweeps a laser training extinguisher and automatically varies the LED driven digital flames in response. The BullsEye's electronic control system responds to the trainees' actions, putting the fire out only when the extinguisher is used correctly. Because only laser light is emitted from the training extinguisher, extinguisher training can now be conducted in training rooms, board-rooms, meeting rooms — virtually anywhere.

We can also create realistic training scenarios in any environment. We can position the BullsEye within hallways, ship decks, shop floors, or storage areas to create a variety of realistic training experiences.

State of the Art Trainer Controlled Gas Fire

Queensland Training Services Pty Ltd has also available the BullEx ITS Xtreme fire fighting training system. Come and experience the realism of fighting real fires in complete safety. The ITS Xtreme senses where the trainee aims and sweeps the compressed air and water Smart-Extinguisher and varies the flames automatically. ITS Xtreme features SmartProps™ that not only provide a realistic flame pattern, but also require that trainees use the proper technique for the flames to be extinguished.

Both the ITS Xtreme and BullsEye Laser system are environmentally friendly and completely safe to use.
